- Becoming River is a sensory ethnography along the course of the river Murg in the Black Forest. A media-ecological probe – equipped with cameras, microphones, and sensors – drifts from the spring that is the river’s source to its confluence with the Rhine. The object, constructed from alluvial material, is both an actor and a piece of passive flotsam.
