• The deficit of graduates of the so-called MINT disciplines (Mathematics, Information Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Technology, like STEM: science, technology, engineering and mathematics), is an essential problem for companies in the south-west of Germany. Therefore we need new varieties of cooperation between education, science and business in the section of training and education,The deficit of graduates of the so-called MINT disciplines (Mathematics, Information Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Technology, like STEM: science, technology, engineering and mathematics), is an essential problem for companies in the south-west of Germany. Therefore we need new varieties of cooperation between education, science and business in the section of training and education, HR-development and employer branding, organizational development for universities and new principles in teaching MINT. A requirement for increasing student numbers is also a gender-balanced situation in MINT-programmes. This requires new ideas and often support by external consultants.…
