The invention relates to a method and to a device for determining the state of charge (SOC) of a rechargeable battery (106) of a specified battery type or a parameter physically related thereto, in particular a remaining charge amount Q contained in the battery, the method operating by means of a voltage-controlled battery model (102), which is parameterized for the battery (106) in question or a corresponding battery type. It is merely necessary to measure the battery voltage Umess and to provide said battery voltage to the battery model (102) as an input variable. The invention further relates to a method and to a device for determining the state of health (SOH) of a battery (102), wherein the battery model (102) also used to determine the SOC provides a modeled battery current Imod. Modeled charge amounts during charging and discharging phases of the battery (106) can be determined from said modeled battery current and can be compared with measured charge amounts, which are determined from the measured battery current Imess. Because the battery model (102) does not age, the SOH of the battery can thereby be determined.
Described is a solid body formed with Si, Al, Ca, O and at least one of Na and K, said body exhibiting in the 27Al MAS NMR spectrum a signal additional to the 27Al MAS NMR spectrum of pure calcium aluminate, with a chemical shift sited between that of the main peak of calcium aluminate and the peak next upfield to the main peak of calcium aluminate. Possible uses of the solid body include use as a building material with aggregates, as a coating, as an adhesive for joining two components for sanitary ceramic units, for high-temperature applications, for renovating existing edifices, especially for underwater renovation, for the erection and/or repair of built structures, particularly when high compressive strengths are needed or chemically aggressive conditions arise. It can be produced by bringing waterglass, sodium hydroxide and/or potassium hydroxide, calcium aluminate, one or more aggregates and optionally water, especially sea water, into contact, even at temperatures below 0°C without heating.

Method for controlling a device, in particular, a prosthetic hand or a robotic arm (US20200327705A1)
(2020)
A method for controlling a device, in particular a prosthetic hand or a robotic arm, includes using an operator-mounted camera to detect at least one marker positioned on or in relation to the device. Starting from the detection of the at least one marker, a predefined movement of the operator together with the camera is detected and is used to trigger a corresponding action of the device. The predefined movement of the operator is detected in the form of a line of sight by means of camera tracking. A system for controlling a device, in particular a prosthetic hand or a robotic arm, includes a pair of AR glasses adapted to detect the at least one marker and to detect the predefined movement of the operator.
