Improving water quality by treatment with different sorbent materials

  • The purpose of this master's thesis was to set up a test bed for the absorption of chemical compounds by carbon-based sorbents and polymers and to develop a method for the detection of these substances applied by liquid chromatography. The study made it possible to demonstrate the effectiveness of both polymers and biochars sorbents for the adosorption of specific substances.
